Isle of Man Introduction
The Isle of Man , an island on the sea between England and Ireland, is a royal dependency of the United Kingdom and one of the three largest royal dependencies of the United Kingdom. The self-governing government on this island has a long history. They had their own parliament in the 10th century and the capital is Douglas. The Isle of Man is an autonomous region independent of Britain. It has its own income tax, import tax and consumption tax services. It has always been a low-tax area independent of the United Kingdom. Low corporate and personal taxes, as well as no inheritance tax, make this area a world-renowned international offshore business center.
