Barbados Introduction

The capital of Barbados is Bridgetown, with an area of ​​431 square kilometers and a coastline of 101 kilometers. The spoken language is English. Britain was forced to announce the abolition of slavery in 1834. Joined the West Indies Federation in 1958 (the Federation was dissolved in May 1962). Internal autonomy was implemented in October 1961. It declared independence on November 30, 1966 and became a member of the Commonwealth.
